This thing called HIPAA

HIPAA. What does that mean to nurses and bloggers? Well, the basic gist of it is that we are prevented from disclosing any personally identifiable health information.

Huh?

That means I can't tell you that Joe Smith has XYZ disease, but I can tell you about the patient who decided to try and eat his way through the restraints one night.

So relax. I'm not divulging any sensitive information here.
